Definitions
The term ‘Scheduled’ Course refers to a course whose location and date of delivery is listed on Kent Trainers website.
‘In-house Course’ means a course run at a time and location agreed with the client which is not listed on the Kent Trainers website.
Payment
The full course fee must be paid no later than 3 weeks prior to the start of the course. Kent Trainers reserves the right to refuse admission to delegates for whom the course fee has not been paid in full.
Late payment
Kent Trainers reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part thereof from the date that payment was due to the date that payment is made.
Prices
The prices quoted on the Kent Trainers website are correct at the date of publication. Kent Trainers reserves the right to amend prices on its website without prior notice.
Trainer travel costs
Unless otherwise stated, if mileage is shown on an invoice it is calculated as 110% of the return journey from Kent Trainers’ office to the place of training, using major roads where possible, as shown by Google Maps. Where train travel is required, costs will be advised within the quote prior to booking tickets and will be based on the most cost effective route.
Transferring between Scheduled Courses
If a delegate wishes to transfer a booking to a later Scheduled Course, Kent Trainers reserve the right to make an administrative charge of:
- No charge for changes made more than 22 days in advance of the original course date
- £50 if the transfer is made between 8 – 21 days of the original course date
- £100 if the transfer is made within 7 working days of the original course date
Cancellation or failure to attend a Scheduled Course by the attendee
All cancellations to bookings must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the start of a course. If a booking is cancelled within 3 weeks of the date of the course or if the attendee fails to attend the course, Kent Trainers reserves the right to charge the full course fee.
Cancellation of In-House Course by the client
All cancellations by the client of In-house Courses must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the course. If an in-house booking is cancelled within 3 weeks of the date of the course Kent Trainers reserves the right to charge the full course fee.
Cancellation of Course by the client involving 3rd party suppliers
If a course provided through Kent Trainers by a 3rd party supplier has a cancellation period of greater than 3 weeks prior to the start of the course then the 3rd party cancellation period will apply. If a booking is cancelled within the 3rd party cancellation period Kent Trainers reserves the right to charge the full course fee. Kent Trainers will notify the client of any 3rd party cancellation period greater than 3 weeks.
Changing attendee details
There will be no charge if a substitute person wishes to replace the original attendee. Please inform us of any change to the original booking as soon as possible.
Cancellation of courses by Kent Trainers and changes to course content
Kent Trainers’ courses are constantly updated and improved and we reserve the right to amend any course content without prior notice. Cancelling a course is something we try to avoid if at all possible, however Kent Trainers reserves the right to cancel a course at any time without liability. In these circumstances, attendees will be offered an alternative date, a credit note or a full refund.
Course notes and training
The notes and training for Kent Trainers courses should not be taken as a legal interpretation. Kent Trainers and its employees, trainers and consultants cannot accept responsibility for:
- Attendees actions, or those of other people reading the course notes, or interpreting the training in litigation
- Any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the course notes
Clients are advised to seek qualified legal advice.
Copyright and intellectual property
The copyright of any course materials, including notes and slides, issued by Kent Trainers as part of a course will remain with Kent Trainers and its associates. Any such materials must not be reproduced or distributed in any form or by any means without the written permission of Kent Trainers.
Discounts and special offers
The discounts and special offers quoted by Kent Trainers are correct at the date of publication. Kent Trainers reserves the right to alter or withdraw these discounts and special offers at any time.
Any discounts or special offers on Kent Trainers courses are exclusive and cannot be combined with any other offer. The higher discount may always be applied. Discounts and special offers must be requested at time of booking.
Governing law
Any booking made under these terms and conditions will be governed by English Law.
