Even the most experienced users of Microsoft Excel are often surprised at the things they don’t know, and the capabilities of the software. These seemingly simple spreadsheets can be extremely powerful tools if you know what you’re doing, and utilised for everything from automating tasks to forecasting and problem solving.
This course builds on our Microsoft Excel Intermediate course, showing further data analysis techniques and looking at the world of what-if analysis for forecasting and problem solving. You will also learn how to automate repetitive tasks with the use of simple macros.
Who is the course for?
Our Microsoft Excel - Advanced course is aimed at anyone who has used Excel for a substantial period of time, and is competent in the skills covered by our Microsoft Excel Beginner and Intermediate courses.
Attendees should have concrete skills in and knowledge of Excel, and be keen to develop these skills further. You will learn advanced techniques including scenario management, tools for auditing, macros and pivot tables.

What will I get out of the training?
Our Microsoft Excel - Advanced course is designed for learners who are already confident with Excel, and wish to approach mastery of the software and their roles. You will learn to use further data analysis tools to complete a what-if analysis, to customise the environment to your liking, and to record and playback simple macros for the automation of repetitive tasks.

- Scheduled training courses held at one of our venues
Courses commence at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:30pm. A hot and cold buffet lunch is included on all our scheduled courses, and refreshments are provided throughout the day.
- Scheduled training courses held virtually
Unless specified, courses commence at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:00pm. The day is broken up into modules, both online and offline to ensure engagement and interaction. We also ensure that there are plenty of comfort breaks throughout the day.
